So, as I said in my last post, I’ll be doing reviews on my wellness journey every week on Monday instead of a check in on Wednesday and review on Sunday. I feel that posting the one review on Monday will be more beneficial!
This past week, I can’t say much with regard to wellness. Obviously, the 4th of July holiday is about celebration, fireworks, and summer food like hot dogs and burgers. Naturally, I didn’t eat well this week. That may have led to my issue on Saturday evening.
From time to time, I’ll get stomach pain and sulfur burps, and I’ll tell you right now, I will NEVER wish sulfur burps even on my own worst enemy. They are gross. I had them so bad last year that I threw up (instantly felt better, by the way), and same thing happened Saturday night. I will be setting up an appointment with my doctor to talk about it, but I imagine it’s food-related, possibly eating too fast, too much, wrong kind, or combo of a couple or all three. I’ve started to take notes in my wellness log when I have stomach issues so I can try to possibly pinpoint the issue.
Hopefully this week gets better as I get back into the swing of things. I’m not sure how often I’ll be working out this week, but I’ll be trying to watch my intake extra closely.
