Mid-Week Check In #4

Hey friends,

I am midway into the final week of the 28 day jumpstart. Of course after it’s over, I’ll continue to work towards improving my strength, losing weight, watching my intake, and just changing my lifestyle towards the better. That will obviously be a lifetime commitment, not a 28 day thing.

That being said, I’m doing alright. Going back into the gym and onto the elliptical after not going for a few days brought about some discomfort, slight pain and soreness, but obviously getting back into the routine will of course get easier.

Calorie intake is going well. Snacking is sometimes hard to avoid, but that’s why I’ve replaced snacks like chips and sweets with foods like hummus and naan or pita chips. Electing for baked chips as well, and aiming for the snack size bags.

I have my elliptical 5K tomorrow of course, so I’ll be doing that. And I need to update my week 4 strength stats, so I’ll likely do that tomorrow as well! See you Sunday!
